We are still working on getting the website link working again but this is a work around that can be used till the site is fixed.

Hello,
is there any news on this issue?

When I try to request the license on https://www.delltechnologies.com/en-us/auth/elmeval.htm

I get the message:

www.delltecnologies.com says "Not Connected. Verify Network"

I am a DELLEMC employee and therefore connected in VPN, and all DELL sites work perfectly, and therefore it is not a network problem.

I need to set up a UnityVSA in the lab to test for a new migration project.

Hi,

I tried to do it, but it was not possible to open an SR without a registered product Serial Number and a site number related to it.

I'll try tomorrow to call or chat with the support team.

Hi  DELL-Sam L

I tried again, but it is impossible to open an SR to request the license, because the Support can not find the Serial Number for a UnityVSA Community Edition, because is not registered (so it is unknown to them) and the product serial number is not related to any site number.

So we can't use UnityVSA Community Edition until this issue accessing the site https://www.delltechnologies.com/en-us/auth/elmeval.htm will be fixed.

There is a workaround to this ?

Hi DELL-Sam L,
thank you very much for your reply. You have already given the same answer to Giuseppe and Berlad72 and both have already elaborated that it is not possible to create a service request for UnityVSA Community Version using the mentioned link. One needs service tag, serial number, product ID, site ID, location or product name.
How exactly can a service request be created to get a UnityVSA Community license? Or is there any other workaround to get a license?

Hello gtjan,

We are still working to get the site back up and working.  You can try to open a case with the License operations, however some customers have stated that they are not able to open a support case.  I am still actively working this issue to get this resolved for everyone.
