ViPR with VMAX error
Hi there,
I'm trying to manage existing VMAX (Enguinity 5876) with ViPR.It is currently connected to my ESX Server with an existing Masking View with the Initiator Group and Port Group. I'm using ViPR v2.0, SMIS Provider v4.6.2.9, ESX 5.5.
When I try to provision a datastore with a new volume from ViPR, I received this error:
createExportMask failed - maskName: urn:storageos:ExportMask:d101e3a5-146b-4a26-916e-f3bc5112a62c:vdc1
WBEMException: CIM_ERR_FAILED (A general error occurred that is not covered by a more specific error code. (com.emc.cmp.osls.se.osl.Masking.StorEndptGroupCreate():1872 C:ERROR_CLASS_SOFTWARE F:ERROR_FAMILY_FAILED R:1000124 L:2 C:ERROR_CLASS_SOFTWARE F:ERROR_FAMILY_FAILED R:1000124 The specified WWN is already in use : "StorEndptGroupCreate failed" : 2 : 3568 : "The specified WWN is already in use"))
Can anyone help me with this issue?

Thanks for the response. I figure out that there is a duplicate network discovered by ViPR and caused ViPR to reuse the same ports to recreate the IGs. I've managed to resolve it by removing and adding back the physical assets.

There may be Solutions Enabler/ SMI-S hotfix available which should resolve this issue.
Please contact EMC Support and provide the mentioned error
