We are currently using the ViPR SDK ('s3-client-2.0.3.jar'), which depends on following dependencies:

• smart-client-2.0.3.jar        [com.emc.vipr:smart-client:2.0.3]
  • ribbon-httpclient-0.3.9.jar [com.netflix.ribbon:ribbon-httpclient:0.3.9]
    • jsr311-api-1.1.1.jar       [javax.ws.rs:jsr311-api:1.1.1]
    • jersey-client-1.11.jar     [com.sun.jersey:jersey-client:1.11]
    • jersey-core-1.11.jar       [com.sun.jersey:jersey-core:1.11]

We had to exclude the last three dependencies to get our application deployed on the WildFly 8.2 application server. The conflicting class is 'javax.ws.rs.core.Response'.

My question is, if excluding the dependencies mentioned above might lead to problems, especially if we want to use the client based load balancing feature provided by the API in production?
