Vsphere 4.1 enterpraise plus

Hello,
I am writing here to seek your support and to gide me in trubleshoting steps,I hope that.
I am folowing all the steps which present in the documenet(http://www.dell.com/downloads/global/solutions/md3000i_esx_deploy_guide.pdf)
But instade of using 3.5 I am using Vsphere 4.1 enterpraise plus
I am folowing all the steps ,and all is right ,but in :
6. Configure iSCSI storage on ESX Server
Go to the configuration tab and select Storage Adapters. Select the iSCSI Software Adapter and click Rescan. The newly created iSCSI target and LUN should be visible from the ESX server.

No iSCSI target and LUN are visible from the ESX server.

It's a little tricky the 1st time to get access. There is a two way that has to take place between the iSCSI san and the ESX host.

Generally, on the esx side you get your iSCSI software initator enabled (configuration, storage adapter, properties, general tab, configure), then get an IP for your san target in the dynamic discovery)

Then you go to the san, add the host, add the host to a host group, then map carved out LUN's to the host group.

Then you go to the storage adapter and rescan. Viola, now you see your luns right?

Then go to storage, add storage, format the lun, ect..ect..
No Events found!
