email notifications on vFoglight Storage
Hi everybody,
We've migrated from vFoglight for Storage 1.6 to vFoglight Storage 2.0 with vFoglight 6.7.
I've been looking how to enable email notifications. It seems that in v2.0 they aren't enabled by default. Must we edit every rule and add a email action to each one?

Jose,
Currently there is no action associated with the vFoglight Storage 2.0 alerts. You will need to add the Email action to each one.
We are looking into what we can do to simplify this and any input would be appreciated.

Wow,
That will be a pain.
Any case, i've found the notification system in vFoglight very inflexible. An admin user must change every rule and It's an all or nothing system, at least if you don't want to write complex conditions for each rule.
vFoglight needs a notification system where each user can choose which alarms (based on conditions: object generating the alarm, time of occurrence, criticiy, etc) will generate a notification (email or others) for him.
