installing vFoglight 6.6 collector
Hi,
I have installed vFoglight Pro 6.6 but accordingly to install guide there should be a point with "Select Yes to install the Collector and Connector." I have tried custom and standard installation and there was no option to select it.
How do i install Collector and Connector? and can i install it on vfoglight server or it has to be on vCenter?

Just making sure you are looking at the right documentation.

We transitioned from collector/connector agent to a Foglight-Agent-Manager (FGLAM) agent based installation.
Version 6.6 still has collector/connector (referred to as legacy agent) but with version 6.6 you should check the post installation document http://edocs.quest.com/vfoglight/66/files/vFoglight-6_6-post-install-procedure.html and use the configure option to add/create agent on Foglight Agent managers.
Depending on your environment you may be able to run the agent component on the Foglight server machine, you can also run it on a separate machine (or a virtual machine).
If for some specific reason you have to run the legacy agent you can watch the install process here
