vFoglight 6.5 installed .... now what?
Should I install the physical OS cart and deploy any of that to my VMs?
I dont see any disk or network data displayed on the hosts --> monitored page. Is that normal? It just has n/a for everything.
How can I disable a particular monitor for a group of VMs? Say all VMs that start with VDI ?

Installing OS cart on VMs is usually not recommended since most of that data is already collected by VMware cart and it would cause data duplication.
Regarding no Disk & Network data, there are certain things that need to be checked on VC side and vFog side. I have you support case and I will need a WebX session to diagnose the issue further.
For excluding VMs from monitoring, are all those VMs are in a specific DataCenter? If so, then we can prevent access to that DataCenter for the userID used by Collector agent and that will exclude all those VMs. Other option is to manually add the VM ID of each of the VM in SkippedEntityList in Collector config filebut it could be tedious task depending upon total numbe of VMs.

Yes all the VMs that I want to exclude are in the same datacenter and from a single virtualcenter collector. The two rules that would like to exclude from these Vms are
VMW Virtual Machine Power State Change
VMW Virtual Machine Logical Drive Utilization.
What are the usual next steps for vFoglight configuration? Thanks.
