VM CPU Usage report
I've would like to grab a baseline that reports the average CPU used for VM's over a period of time-I've run the reports that list CPU/Memory,etc but can't seem to find one that really provides what I need. Can anyone recommend one that will work for this, or is there a good custom option to go with? Thanks.

Hi,
Not sure if you tried the report template 'Virtual Machines Utilization - Detail', which gives CPU used Hz, CPU percent ready, memory consumed, disk growth rate, disk transfer rate and network transfer rate for the specified time range.
If you would want to try a custom option:
Go Create new report (you'll find this in the drop down of Reports which is next to the time range on the top on the web console)
1. Under Build a report:
Select Use all data -> Click finish
Expand Vmware -> Virtual Machines -> select/highlight anyone of VM
View styles: go for Metric view
2. Click Next
3. Expand CPU's -> HOst CPU -> check the box Used Hz & click Finish.
Best Regards,
Rachel

Thanks! One more question-how does one remove these from the Dashboard? I don't see an option for that.

Hi,
Please find the online doc below to do so:
http://edocs.quest.com/vfoglight/66/doc/wwhelp/wwhimpl/common/html/frameset.htm?context=Core&file=UserGuide/HelpPage_CustomReport.083.01.php&single=true
Click reporting on your enterprise -> clikc building a custom report.
You'll find the topic, deleting a custom report template.
Please find the attached screen shot to do.
Expand the arrow on your right on the webconsole, select the report you want to delete (for eg: MyReport 7)
Click Delete this report.
Thanks,
Rachel

Click Configuration --> Difinition. You'll see list your reports in center frame, and in right frame - click Remove.
