VM Create date
Hi,
i am wondering if there is an easy way to report on a VM where I can get CPU allocated, Memory allocated, total storage allocated, and create date. I found most of the information but cannot find where Vfoglight stores create date. I know I can pull the information via vCLi but I figured if I set up a report we can pull the information on the fly or create a mangers's dashboard with this information.

The creation date is not collected, not sure why.
However, you can pull the host/effectiveStartDate, which is the first date that data was collected, which approximates creation date in the case where you had vFoglight running before the VM came up for the first time. Not a great answer, but might help.
The other option is a script agent to collect the data.
I'm actually working on such an agent, to collect this and several other pieces of data we need but which are not currently available. I'll be posting it for others to use when complete.
If you have suggestions for other data you would like to see, let me know.
