My Macafee Virus Scan keeps revealing several "unused program files" in C:\WINDOWS\TEMP\Altnet\*.dll and other altnet files with *.cab and *.exe extensions. They cannot be deleted, quarantined or cleaned by Macafee. Macafee suggested that if I want to get rid of them, that I should uninstall them manually.
From the best of my research, Altnet programs appear to be needed to speed up the downloads for Kazaa which I don't have. I have no desire to keep these files and would like to delete them if I can. However, I thought I would check here first before I start dumping what may be critical program files. Please advise.

Nothing that lives in a TEMP file is critical. Feel free to delete them if you can.

Unzip or Extract the .exe file to your desktop. Then Open it and where it says Full Path of File to Delete, type in:
