Beware SuperAntiSpyware
In attempting to REMOVE SuperAntiSpyware Windows shut down dektop and all. Files. But they did not tell me how this file got there and what it is doing. They told me to remove the downloaded SuperAntiSpyware and reinstall. But they, Super AS support, did not tell me if this file will show up again in the reinstall. Can anyone shed some light on this.

Interestingly enough with SASKUTIL deleted the latest version of SAS runs normally. One wonders what SASKUTIL does. A point made during my web search. But SAS does not want to discuss this. Another way of removing SAS is to delete each of the 15 files individually. But I will reinstall.

Today I REMOVED SAS. This was with SASKUTIL removed from the SAS file on C drive. Then I reinstalled SAS. The SAS Forum Administrator also contacted me with additional questions. Apparently they unlocked me. Thanks for the help in solving this interesting problem.

Sherr,
We're all glad to hear that you're finally making some progress in fixing your problem.
for future reference, may i suggest that you try to post all matters related to the same issue [for example, your ongoing problems with SAS] in a single thread.... that will keep everything organized, and make it much easier for everyone to read and follow.
you first raised this issue here: http://forums.us.dell.com/supportforums/board/message?board.id=si_virus&message.id=66604
started a second thread here: http://forums.us.dell.com/supportforums/board/message?board.id=si_virus&message.id=66619
and then a third thread here: http://forums.us.dell.com/supportforums/board/message?board.id=si_virus&message.id=66621

All of my messages were posted in the Virus/Spyware Forum in an organized manner. I don't see those postings causing any confusion. Even the SAS Forum administrator removed his block on my messages in the SAS Forum. This is an admission of impetuous action on his part. In fact I still receive input from their Forum administrator regarding this matter. Thank you for your help and input.
