The error code and following information indicates that the problem is a driver assosciated with your usb modem. You may want to try to reload the driver for the port

Rt click My computer - hardware tab  - device manger

The device manager window opens

in the left pane scroll down to  Universal Serial Bus controller - click the + to expand the list. Scroll down till you find the host controller list. Pick out your port. Higlite and rt click in the same pane and the drop down menu show appear, click update driver. And reboot.

You may need to reload the software that came with your USB modem.

Xbox 360 live fits into the same category as the downloads I mentioned. The error occours because of a communication gliche between the USB modem and the RAM on the pc. USB modems work a little different than Regular modems in that they have go through an additional layer of software.

The short explaination is that at times the USB modem overloads the avaiable Ram and it creates an error code.

I'm not implying that USB modems are bad. But when playing live games, downloading things such as movies or large music files, you need to up the RAM to compensate.

Good luck on your new modem purchase. I appreciate your patience with me on this. And I hope this information has been of  some help

Not knowing your location, it might be better if you were to talk to some others inyour area and check out what is offered. Most DSL service providers offer modems with their service.

Modems with direct connection usually use the CAT5 connector in the back of the PC. If you prefer wireless, then I would suggest a wireless router and a wireless card that you can install yourself.

The wireless router is your choice, there are several good ones on the market. I use a Belkin Wireless, but it is personal preference.

I am having the same problem with my inspiron E1505 I think it is caused by that usb driver because when I first gor my computer I had supposedly 4 high speed usb ports now i have non and when I plug in any kind of usb device a message pops up from the windows bar saying that this is high speed usb device and it makes me look for usb 2 ports but there are none. And like a week ago this blue screen shows up saying:
DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

Stop: 0x000000D1 (0xF6610328, 0x00000002, 0x00000000, 0xF6610328)

USBPORT.SYS - Address F6610328 Base at F65F2000, DateStamp 41107d62
I have no idea what to do i have tried updating the usb drivers and didnt work either
