Can HJT help with.....

Im using an inspirion 1501 with vista home basic and im having a lot problems with programmes not responding and everything running very slow. I recently had a Trojan: JS/Agent.FA and could not get rid of it so i reinstalled vista and it still wasnt running properly so i reset it to factory settings and still having problems. There is nothing found with any scans i have done so my question is can HJT help with this..

Hmmmm...Well, of course it COULD if the issue was malware but from your description, I doubt that anything of that nature would have survived your reinstallation.

You could post a log to be sure. There are other things that show in the hjt log scans that might give us a clue as to your performance issues.
