Can't install Norton Internet Security 2004
I purchased the upgrade to Norton Internet Security 2004 and it will not install on my Dimension 4600 running XP. I worked with Norton online support without success.
During installation the following files will not properly be created:
Cannot create Setup\asCore\COMMON\SYMSHARE\AntiSpam\asSpmLog.dll
Cannot create Setup\Setup\COMMON\SYMSHARE\ADBLCK\PxyLog.dll
Cannot create Setup\ISCommon\APP\SNLog.dll
I attempted this latest install in safe mode, with the XP firewall disabled and after running various adware removal programs.
Any one encounter the same? Any suggestions?

First check out if u have the USER RESTRICTIONS on your XP. If yes then login as Administrator and then install the norton security suit.
Well!! According to me, Norton Internet Security is not good as it wont stop the unwanted incoming pkt or various attacks. Then Symantec Products are very much vulnerable to various attacks:-
