Can't seem to block data miner

For the last couple of days, Ad-Aware SE has found the following dataminer:  www4.addfreestats.com/cig-bin.  When I try to go into Internet Options>Privacy>Sites and enter this full URL it won't go in after clicking on "block" and "OK", but if I delete the dot (.) between the "4" and " add", it will go in normally. If I use the dot, it won't. Not sure what is going on here or if there is any way around it. Do I need to include the /cig-bin part?

One other question...how do I pull up the logs of previously found threats with SE. I'm sure I spelled the above URL correctly but I could be wrong. Thanks for shedding any light on this.

I believe it suffices to block simply      addfreestats.com
try it, see if it works (i.e., if that cookie doesn't come back again)

to find previously detected threats in ad-aware...
assuming you've quarantined them (rather than deleting them)
open Ad Aware
click on Open Quarantine list
you'll see a list of your quarantined 'backups'...
if you click on any one, it'll open, to show you the specific items it contains
you can copy/paste the cookies (data miners), one by one, into your IE privacy/sites to block future recurrences
