I echo the sentiments of many others. Denny helped me on several occasions through the years and his answers and suggestions to many other users never conveyed a sense of exasparation and frustration to our often befuddled attempts to apply the solutions. He was just the patient teacher, well aware that becoming at ease with computers and software only came with ongoing study and effort...and making mistakes along the way.

Denny was the best resource on the Dell forums...and many others follow his example, doing their best to lead other users out of cyber wilderness. My sympathies to his family.

Denny was the very heart and soul of this forum. Without his patient advice I would have given up on computers way back when.

 

I hope someone mirrors his sites- or figures out a way to pay to keep them up for a few years.

I just signed up here today - the very first question I had was answered and my problem solved by an answer Denny gave on another thread. What a tragedy - this guy was a real hero. His kind of expertise and knowledge will be hard to follow but I hope someone tries, as someone said earlier, to keep his sites up & running. What a bloke...

I think we can all say that Denny was the Grand Patriarch of these forums.  He will be missed.
