Error Message when trying to run LiveUpdate (Norton)

I get this error message when trying to run the Norton LiveUpdate:
 
LU1818: Live Update could not create a directory that it needed. Make sure you still have some free disk space on the drive you installed windows.
 
Space should totally not be an issue, although I did go through and clear out a bunch of junk, photos, music files, etc., which didn't help.

Norton has numerous error messages associated with live update.  Suggest you peruse the Symantec web site for solutions. Sorry I can't be more specific, but live update problems are hard to diagnose and solve.  Enter your exact error message in the search field for help.
