Jim, My PC is running fine.... it has been since the second running of virus removal software, and was great even before the ATF scan. However..... My IE explorer icon, is frazzled looking. I am ok with it as long as my computer runs well. But it seems odd to me that if everything is ok, why would that icon look messed up? Anyway, you have been a great help I thank you for your efforts. If there is nothing else we can do to fix that Icon it is ok by me! - Nick

That's odd that it would only be one on the icons. You can try cycling the settings

Click Start -> [Settings] -> Control Panel, then launch the Display icon.
Go to the Appearance tab, then select Advanced.
Next, select the 'icons' option from the pull-down menu.
Change the icon size to 1/2 of whatever is currently the default value (if it's 32, try 16), then click the Apply button. Then cycle it back and see if that helps.

If not, I don't know.
