help deleting gator virus
I have tried norton, logging on in safe mode and using norton, and removing programs from the control panel where the program was not listed. All attempts have failed and was wondering If I had to actually purchase a program to get rid of this.
any other advise?

Since Gator is not a virus, antivirus software will not get rid of it. Gator is spyware that you gave permission to have installed on your computer. See the following:
