Hey samson56,

Print the following instructions off as you will need to be offline

Important: Create a folder on the C: drive called C:\HJT.
You can do this by going to My Computer (Windows key+e) then double click on C:
then right click and select New then Folder and name it HJT.
There is not a lot wrong with your computer

Try these online scans to remove the trojan you have:

TrojanScan -
http://www.windowsecurity.com/trojanscan/
Click scan my computer for trojans

PandaActiveScan -
http://www.pandasoftware.com/activescan/com/activescan_principal.htm
Click Scan My PC

BitDefender -
http://www.bitdefender.com/scan/licence.php
Click I agree

Allow them to remove anything they find and note down anything they find but cannot rmeove and its location and post back here in your reply

Run Hijackthis and with all windows closed put a check mark next to the following

I could not find any information on these and am 99% sure they are malware unless you know what they are put a check mark next to them:

O3 - Toolbar: Systran40pemls.IEPlugIn - {D3919E62-D6A5-11D6-AC3E-00B0D094B576} -
C:\Program Files\Systran_En\4_0\PersonalWOI\IEPlugIn.dll

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [lass] C:\WINDOWS\System32\lass.exe (may have been removed by online scans)

Click "FIX"

Reboot into Safe Mode

Start-Logoff-Restart

· Immediately begin tapping the F8 key continually
· Select the option for Safe Mode using the arrow keys
· Press enter on your keyboard to begin Safe Mode
· A black screen will appear then Windows will load

Showing Hidden Files and Folders

Click Start

· Open My Computer
· Select the Tools Menu and click Folder Options
· Select the View Tab
· Under the hidden files and folders heading, Select Show · Uncheck: Hide File extensions for known file types
· Uncheck: Hide protected operating system files
· Click Yes to Confirm
· Click Ok

Use the search otion on the start menu (bottom left hand corner of the screen) to search for and find the following files and folders:

Files

C:\WINDOWS\System32\lass.exe

If found delete the offending file (they may not be there this is fine)

Reverse the above to hide your files and folders again

Run Cleanup to empty all your
Temporary Internet Folders as Hijackthis and other programs
leave a lot of junk behind:

Post a new log back here

I found out that mdms.exe renamed its self to rundle.exe,(trojan clicker.Win32.Agent.bp) Kaspersky antiv-virus had a hard time picking it up.so I uninstalled it and installed F-secure Anti-virus 2005,it done a better job.

Hey samson56,

Sorry for late reply but we do this voluntarily and time is always a factor:

Now as for your problem.

This is the usual speech I give for when someone is ALL CLEAN which you now are:

Install these for safer surfing:

http://www.javacoolsoftware.com/spywareblaster.html Update when downloaded, SpywareBlaster prevents the installation of ActiveX-based spyware, adware, browser hijackers, dialers, and other potentially unwanted pests. Blocks spyware/tracking cookies in Internet Explorer and Mozilla/Firefox. Restricts the actions of potentially dangerous sites in InternetExplorer.

http://www.javacoolsoftware.com/spywareguard.html  Update when downloaded.
SpywareGuard provides a real-time protection solution against spyware that is a great addition to SpywareBlaster's protection method.

What program is it that keeps detecting a trojan on your system and where is its location (file/folder)? (It maybe (most likely to be) a false positive now)

hi bertha2
did you see my last post beroe the one you posted last?
I had thought mdms.exe was gone from my pc until I right clicked a file and anti-virus came up with trojan.clicker.win32.agent.pb (mdms.exe) I had gone to all of your settings like you had said.Since then I have downloaded so many tools trying to destroy this worm but have luck, even gone into ms-dos found mdms.exe deleted it rebooted the pc went into systm32 and there it was again.
The pc is running fine but knowing there's a worm in my pc I want to get rid of it,if I dont I'm going to format it instead I dont like doing that because it takes so long to load all the software.I installed xosftspy it found coolwebsearch location:c:windows/system32/RUNDLL32.exe I deleted it done a rescan all clear, after a few times surfing in the net done a scan again it showed up.I'm lost here going nuts
here's a new log file.
and thank you for your time and efort trying to help me out here.
cheers,
Sam

Hey Samson56,

Try disabling your Anti-Malware progrmas and then running through the deletion again of the Trojan.

Also take a look at this
