Hijacked by DELL

My Latitude x1 automatically goes to dell.com no matter what you set it at, no matter what you turn off to reset it. I've run Adaware and spybot, but it keeps on resetting to dell.com

And by clicking on that link I got a message that the link was no longer valid.

It appears that you were told this as well:
"There is a stickie at the top of the board explaining the steps to post a log."

I doubt that Dell has "hijacked" your computer. If you have a Dell computer, the situation that you are experiencing is probably because some of Dell's default configurations need to be changed. Please go back and try the suggestions at the link that was posted by Joe in your thread at "First Time Users". If that does not work, please post a HjackThis log.

No, I was told on my other post that this question should be posted here. I am hoping that someone familiar with Dell and what they are up to might be able to help. Hopefully I will not have to install that and waste any more time on this. I couldn't be the only one Dell has hijacked.

This is the HijackThis board. Do you have a HijackThis log to post?
