I have no P2P running. No cracked programs running. I have not fix anything on Hijackthis. I do have permission to do anything that is needed.

If it takes me a little while to post back, I work 3rd shift so I might sleep in between some of the post.

I am reviewing your log.
In the meantime, you can help me by doing the following:

* If you have posted this log on another forum, please provide a link to the topic.

* If you are using any cracked software, please remove it.
Definition of cracked software:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Software_cracking

* If you are using any P2P (file sharing) programs, please remove them before we clean your computer.
The nature of such software and the high incidence of malware in files downloaded with them is counter productive to restoring your PC to a healthy state.

* If this computer belongs to someone else, do you have authority to apply the fixes we will use?

* Have you already fixed entries using HijackThis? If so, please restore all the backups and then post another log. Please do not do anything else until you get further instructions.

* After we begin working, please print or copy all instructions to Notepad in order to assist you when carrying out procedures.
Please follow all instructions in sequence.

* If your replies do not fit in one post while we are handling your issue, please reply to yourself until all text is submitted. It may take several posts.

The replies are no problem -- as long as you do not wait a week between them because that allows time for the malware to regenerate if anyone uses the computer to go online. Actually, it is best if the computer is not used at all online during our fix, other than your coming here for instructions and replies.

Please download FixWareout from one of these sites:
http://downloads.subratam.org/Fixwareout.exe
http://download.bleepingcomputer.com/lonny/Fixwareout.exe

Save it to your desktop and run it. Click Next, then Install, make sure "Run fixit" is checked and click Finish.
The fix will begin; follow the prompts.
You will be asked to reboot your computer; please do so.
Your system may take longer than usual to load; this is normal.
Once the desktop loads post the text that will open (report.txt). Close that for now. You will need it later.

Download Registry Search by Bobbi Flekman
Save it to your Desktop.
Rt Click->>Extract All->>Extract it to your desktop
Open the Regsearch folder
Double Click RegSearch and Run.
Copy and paste the following into the top box:

hardlife.ini

Then O.K. Let the program run. When it is finished the results
will open in notepad
Copy and paste the results as a reply to this thread.
Please also include:
1. Your report from FixWareout
2. A fresh Hijackthis log.

Download RogueRemover from the link below.
http://www.malwarebytes.org/rogueremover.php

Double-click on rr-free-setup.exe to install in C:\Program Files\RogueRemover. Navigate to the folder and double click on the file named RogueRemover.exe or use the icon that was created on your desktop. .
Once the program runs, select Check for Updates.
When prompted, select Check for Updates.
If prompted again, click Download to receive the
latest updates.
When completed, close the update window.

Finally, select Scan and the program will walk you through the remaining steps.

Reboot.

Please run Notepad and paste the following text between the lines into a new file. Do not copy the dotted lines.

Unless I missed it before, this is the first time you mentioned your not being able to access the Control Panel.

Download and scan with SUPERAntiSpyware Free for Home Users

Double-click SUPERAntiSpyware.exe and use the default settings for installation.
An icon will be created on your desktop. Double-click that icon to launch the program.
If asked to update the program definitions, click "Yes". If not, update the definitions before scanning by selecting "Check for Updates". (If you encounter any problems while downloading the updates, manually download and unzip them from here.)
Under "Configuration and Preferences", click the Preferences button.
Click the Scanning Control tab.
Under Scanner Options make sure the following are checked (leave all others unchecked):
- Close browsers before scanning.
- Scan for tracking cookies.
- Terminate memory threats before quarantining.
Click the "Close" button to leave the control center screen.
Back on the main screen, under "Scan for Harmful Software" click Scan your computer.
On the left, make sure you check C:\Fixed Drive.
On the right, under "Complete Scan", choose Perform Complete Scan.
Click "Next" to start the scan. Please be patient while it scans your computer.
After the scan is complete, a Scan Summary box will appear with potentially harmful items that were detected. Click "OK".
Make sure everything has a checkmark next to it and click "Next".
A notification will appear that "Quarantine and Removal is Complete". Click "OK" and then click the "Finish" button to return to the main menu.
If asked if you want to reboot, click "Yes".
To retrieve the removal information after reboot, launch SUPERAntispyware again.
- Click Preferences, then click the Statistics/Logs tab.
- Under Scanner Logs, double-click SUPERAntiSpyware Scan Log.
- If there are several logs, click the current dated log and press View log. A text file will open in your default text editor.
- Please copy and paste the Scan Log results in your next reply.
Click Close to exit the program.

Let me know if you are still getting popups after that, and if so, what type of popups.

i am getting pop ups like chat zone, popupblocker, and other misc ones. I am still not able to view my control panel. the pop ups have slowed down a lot.
