I think I have a virus/spyware...
This is what I found in the registry run folders (per instructions given on this message board).
Under HKey_Current_User
Software
Microsoft
Windows
Current Version, I got the following:
(default)
AllTracksGone
msnmsgr
PlaxoUpdate
Under HKey_Local_Machine
Software
Software
Microsoft
Windows
Current Version, I got the following:
(Default)
Dell AIO Printer A920
HotKeysCmds
IgfxTray
In CD
NAV Agent
Nerocheck
QuickTimeTask
SunJavaUpdateSched
Symantec NetDriverMonitor
TKBellExe
Can you please tell me if there is something suspisious and I should remove it?
I get adds popping up all over the place, even when my browser is closed. I run SpyBot & Adware every time I go on. They find things every time I run them.
Please Help!

Do these ads popup when you are on specifc websites or any website?
* Go here
* Under Scan Your PC, click Scan Now. It's Free!
* Choose United States
* Click Go
* Give it time to download the latest virus data files
* Insert a check to your local disk (usually C:)
* Insert a check to Autoclean
* Click Scan
* Notate the results

I ran the scan that you recommended. It pulled up 'TrojISTBAR.AP', and I deleted it. I hope this was the problem, too soon to tell as I went directly here to reply to your message. As for your question on whether the ads were popping up all over the place or just a specific website, they were popping pretty much everywhere, and even when my browser was not open.
Is there anything else I should do?
Thank you SOOOOOOOOOO much for helping me, and for your timely response.

This program will "read" what is going on with your system.
* Go here
* Click Save
* Click Desktop
* Click Save
* Click Start- My Computer or double click the My Computer icon
* Open Local Disk C
* Click File- New- Folder
* Type HJT [press the ENTER key]
* Move the downloaded hijackthis.exe file into the newly created folder, C:\HJT
* Open the HJT folder
* Double-click HijackThis.exe
* Click Scan
* Click Save log
* Click Desktop
* You should now see an open hijackthis log. Copy this log and post it on the Dell Community Forum Virus board

Kerry,
Run HiJackThis and click "Scan", then check(tick) the following:

Who is your current internet service provider?
Post back a new log.

Kerry,
Ok, i'd missed this the first time around; we need to look at a HiJackThis log using the newest version. It might pick up more than the previous one did.
Mike.

Kerry,
That looks ok to me, good job!
Contact your current ISP and verify the following DNS address as belonging to, or affiliated with them:

Thanks! Well, I'll contact my provider and see about the isp addresses. I think there should only be 3, so this already seems suspisious. I really appreciate your help - definitely couldn't have done it w/out! I'll post back if one/some of the isp addresses are incorrect.

Done. Accessed the net with no difficulties. Looked around to see if things seemed better, and they do, however I still seem to be getting a lot more ads than when I work on other people's computers. I also got a pop-up balloon that said SpyBot was blocking the downloand of 'AvenueA,Inc!' and also 'DoulbleClick', is this a bad sign - I mean I know it says they're being blocked but why am I getting it on several websites?
Here is my current log. I fixed the ones you told me to but 206.13.29.12 206.13.30.12- keeps popping back up into the log

Both 206.13.29.12 and 206.13.30.12 are valid sbcglobal DNS addresses. (dns1.lsanca.sbcglobal.net and dns1.sndgca.sbcglobal.net respectively).
AvenueA and Doubleclick are fairly benign cookies and not a significant threat. Tracking cookies are pervasive and it's not surprising that you are seeing them on many web sites. Periodically running Ad-Aware and/or Spybot S&D will clean these out.
I don't understand how you can get "SpyBot was blocking the downloand..." as I don't see Spybot running in the log. Are you sure it was Spybot blocking? There are two related programs running that could be blocking cookies - AdsGone and AllTracksGone. I'm not familiar with these and don't know if they do cookie blocking. You could try disabling these and see.
In addition, the SP2 version of IE has many more security options than the earlier version did. It's possible that IE itself is blocking the cookies.
