IE keeps popping up.
From another user in a different forum. Does anyone in here have any advise? Thank you in advance for your thoughts.
Help Please. I messed it up this time. I have dell dimension L800r system with millenium me. I think my system is confused. I use wallmart as my internet server. However while I am online internet explorer keeps popping up and trying to connect. Also when offline playing a game on CD. internet explorer ask if I want to stay offline or connect. And when I walk away internet explorer keeps loading up on my bottom taskbar intill all I can do is shut down and reboot. Maybe it is a virus or something. I am not very good at computers but I try. Please help if you can. If you need more info I will provide.

I have Dimensions 8400; and tried install of comcast internet using former disk and modem(through dell wireless hub adaptor: LAN ) from prior install on dimension8250.to wit I now have networked together . My problem is that ea. time I boot I get this message from a "comcast reboot helper " screen with what looks to the registy icon.I tried calling comcast and ,well! they were no help and all the darn thing says to do in place install disk back in again and to continue, which never helps.I have comcast working fine and my home page is comcast's??? any seguestions...?
