OK,
I am going to give you some instructions but I want you to do the actually work in SAFE MODE

First while in normal mode look for entries in your Add/Remove Programs folder in your Control Panel for:

TV Media
Web Offers
Rebates
Canada

If you see them there uninstall it from there.

THIS IS TO BE DONE IN SAFE MODE

Now run HiJackThis then:

1. Click "Config..."
2. Click "Misc Tools"
3. Click "Open Process manager"

-
Next, while holding down the CTRL key, locate (if present) and click on (highlight) each of the following

C:\windows\system32\saie.exe
C:\WINDOWS\system32\nGLogvCA.exe
C:\WINDOWS\System32\jizoqu.exe
C:\Program Files\Swpslpd\Bcqnrb.exe
C:\windows\system32\DM2nVEJKZ.exe
C:\Program Files\CSBB\CSV7P26.exe
C:\WINDOWS\System32\atkctrs1.exe
C:\WINDOWS\System32\BnetAuth.exe

Now double-check and make sure that only those item(s) above are highlighted, then click " Kill process". Now, click " Refresh", check again, and repeat this step if any remain.

Open HJT this and tick these entries if present:
R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer,SearchURL = http://searchmiracle.com/sp.php
R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Bar = file://C:\WINDOWS\System32\SearchBar.htm

I wish it was as easy as putting it in an email. :)
You have to analyze each entry one at a time.
If I could do it I would but it isn't possible.

HJT if not done right will totally crash your system.

Thank you very much for your time and effort in this.
And if its not too much, I would like to learn how to identify these problems myself, so that I may help other people, and so that I would know how to fix these problems in the future (in case they come back).

You did good!

You got it all. You are clean and your system HAS to be performing better.

Let me know?

Do a CleanUp and you are good to go.

You were very infected!

Take care.

I will, and thank you. If you could e-mail me instructions on how to identify problems like that in a hijack this log, I would greatly appreciate it.

Yours Truly,
Thomas

P.S. Please let me know if you want to stay in touch. [I will give you my e-mail in my next thread (if you need it)].
