Irritating ringing sound coming from PC.
Hi all,
I hope someone can help me here....I'm pulling my hair out!!! I have a rather irritating spyware or adware componant on my system that makes a ringing or chiming sound all the time (Ranging from minutes apart to every couple of seconds)
Does anyone have any ideas? I have used Spybot Search and Destroy and i finds Roings Search enhancement and supposedly destroys it. Coupla minutes later back to square one. I have searched through the registry and killed anything that mentions roings or roimoi. but still no luck. In the end I found a reference by TexRuss with some suggestions. Used HJT and here is my log. Someone please help....
thanks,
Gareth
