Need help
Everytime I turn on the computer and access the internet through internet explorer it pops up a bunch of different screens with different sites then some times it changes my home page to gophersearch and I have to go back into my internet tools and change it back. Is there a way I can stop these sites from popping up? My pop up blocker is good when I am online it blocks them, but when I first get online the screens go crazy and they are making me crazy....any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you

From what you said it sounds like you might have a highjacker working in your system
Let's do this, go to here and download HiJackThis to its own folder that you create on your C:\ drive at C:\HJT.
After it is downloaded open the program and click Scan and Save to log.
Post the log that it generates in the HiJackThisForum for analysis.

go to services tab and check options for hide all microsoft services
go to startup tab and press disable all.
click ok and restart the computer
this will disable all startup item (including spyware hopefully)
