New Update Philosophy

Hey all.

Sometimes, I wonder if I'm just "talking to myself" here.   Basically, I've just been posting update notices for programs... some of which (specifically, Adobe Reader and Firefox) seem to be getting updated overly frequently.   These programs have included (notification and/or) update mechanism, and their users likely are updating them anyway.

So --- as I'm getting older --- I'm thinking I may start limiting such posts to those programs that tend to receive updates at "irregular" times, or which have unusual significance/urgency.

If anyone else wishes to fill the void and make other posts, more power to you!
