Norton AntiVirus Performance Impact
Ever since I installed NAV 2004, virus check is requested every time I open an application, MS WORD or EXCEL, both for add-ins and for the file I am opening. Since with SP-2 all incoming files are checked and NAV is scheduled to check all files once a week, the delay caused by the virus check is annoying. I have not been able to find an option to disable the virus check of files opened by these applications. Does anyone know of any way to do so?

Hi.
I think I might be able to help ya. If you start NAV 2004, go to Options, Miscellaneous, and Uncheck Enable Office Plug-in. Then click on OK, and close NAV 2004.
This should do the trick.
