Problems with CWS/searchx and low virtual memory messages. NEED HELP PLS!

i seem to have problems with CWS/searchx.  i have been getting these trojans: trojan.downloader and trojan.byte.verify that are picked up by Norton.  i always go ahead and follow instructions that NAV gives me and either quarantine or delete the files.  then somehow it has come to this.  one day the webpage searchx came to my browser with "about: blank" shown at the address bar so i know i have been hijacked.  i ran CWShredder, and it disappeared.  just when i thought everything was fine, the searchx came back after a couple of hours.  i ran ad-aware, and it showed that i had a malware from coolweb.  i deleted it only found out that it revived itself after a reboot.  i also tried to run NAV and mcafee online free scan (both normal mode and safe mode), but each time the results came out with zero infection.  also when i tried housecall, the window showed an error message and went ahead to close my browser.  ever since then, i got these low virtual memory messages.  i still run the same programs as before, so i dont think it's the problem of too many programs.  as a result, i suspect that this "hidden" trojan causes me the memory-resident problems.  here attached is the HJT log, somebody please please please help me, your answer is most appreciated!    PS. i am using xp, and i have memory of 256 MB with 30 G HD.
