Random system crash/restart possible malaware issue

PC: Inspiron 560 Desktop, Windows 7 Professional

I have been experiencing totally random crashes for many months and have still to find a solution; recently I have received help via the desktop support forum which included running a full system diagnostic check, reinstalling video driver, reinstalling adobe flash, running chkdsk /f, sfc /scannow, registry cleaner but still the problem recurs. I have also submitted event logs but they seem to have totally random issues so I have been pointed towards a possible malaware problem.
