Redirecting Links and Random Ads Playing w/ Nothing open

Hey, I must have downloaded a bad file because I had a icon pop up in the bottom right corner of my screen (by clock) and it looked like some kind of fake anti-virus thing.  I closed it and didn't run anything for it.  I then ran a microsoft scan which found one trojan which i deleted but that didn't fix the problem.  Now when I type things into google the links following are all redirected to some lawyer or A something?   Also, random ads or something will start playing with nothing open.  I hit ctrl alt delete and stop the iexplorer process which temporarily fixes the problem.  And pop-ups saying Google installer was unable to start. or something like that, I'm not sure if that is related or not.  Here is the hijack this.
