security warning pop ups
I keep getting security warning pop ups and every once in a while a pop up to visit spain. Some of them look like a Windows warning warning me about a trojan or malware, and then I should down load malware software. Another one I am getting is Person Protector, and also Advanced Virus Remover, this one is in my programs but not in the control panel add/remove. I am copying note pad from hijack, and I will try to attach analyze this, I just tried that and could not do it.
Any help, would be very much appreciated.

Thank you, I did as you wrote and below is the avenger log and the new hijack log. I am still partly infected. Some of the icons are gone in the lower left of my screen (near the time) but on my desktop it still says in a big rectangle Your sytem is still infected, and the color is still off. There was also an error at start up from View Manager and it is running slow. Thank you again for your help

I thought it would take a couple of runs at this to fix. Your PC is very infected.
You may want to print out these instructions for reference, because to perform some of the steps required you will need to be offline.
1. Go HERE and download LSPfix and save it to your Desktop
Disconnect from the internet, and close all browser windows.
Open the LSPFix folder
Run LSPFix. Click the " I know what I'm doing" button.
In the left hand pane, hilite all instances of >>>>>>>>>>>>> winhelper86.dll<<<<<<<<(and nothing else),
move them to the "Remove" pane and by clicking the >> button.
Click Finish. Reboot to complete the process.

1. Go HERE and download File Lister.
Rt Click ->> Extract all ->> And extract it to your Desktop
Additional help on extracting zip files can be found HERE
Open the File Lister Folder.
Note: Leave the FileLister.vbe file in the folder and run it from there.
Rt Click FileLister.vbe ->>Select Open Then Open to confirm.
As the program runs, it will appear that nothing is happening.
When the program is fnished it will produce a log for you C:\Files.txt
Copy and paste the contents of that log in your reply.

Bamajim,
I did a you wroteabove, File Lister opened a window that said ..File lister is running this may take afew minutes ( or something lke that). After four hours I stopped it. It will not stop. My computer is now running more than slow. On Satudday I started getting warnings from myMacafee Iwill copyad paste them fr you. You can seeby me typing this iseven hard to do. It keeps stopping and pausing.Below are some ofthe warnings. At times they keep popping up one afte the other. Help ME PLEASE.

Hi Bamajim
I deleted the above from the Hijack this log. I ran avenger however, on reboot I received the following
C:\cleanup.exe Windows cannot find 'C:\cleanup.exe.' make sure you typed the name correctly, then try again. To search for a file, click the start button, and then click search.
I am starting to receive more pop up type of things too today, the mcafee warnings are only occasionally now. But now I am getting "Bad Image" boxes and a bunch of letters at the top of the boxed too. For example one said usernit.exe-bad image The application or DLL C:\windows\sys...
I tried to rerun avenger since it did not have a list, just the above windows cannot fiind (see above) and it would not allo me to run again.

1. We need to temporarily disable MCAfee so it doesn't interfere with our fix
If you have McAfee Virus Only
Step 1: Move your mouse pointer to the toolbar at the lower right corner of your computer's desktop. Click on the arrow button facing towards the left to expand the system tray area.
Step 2: The System IconFind the red "M" icon for the McAfee Anti-Virus program in the expanded system tray. Right-click on it.
Step 3: Look for an option in the new menu that will pop up that says either "Exit" or "Disable" and click on it.
Step 4: Click "Yes" on the pop up box that will appear asking if you are sure you want to disable the McAfee Anti-Virus program. Double-click on the McAfee desktop icon, or re-start the computer entirely to enable the program again.
If you have McAffee Security Center
Step 1: Locate the red "M" icon in the system tray at the bottom right corner of the desktop. Double click on it to open the Security Center program.
Step 2: Click on the "Advanced" tab and then choose the option labeled as "Configure."
Step 3: Click on the "Files" button on the top toolbar. Click on the "Disable" button at the center of the screen.
Step 4: Enter in a time for the program to automatically turn back on in the text field at the right or, instead, re-start the computer to turn it back on.
2. Please download Combofix and save to your desktop:
Close any open browsers.
Double click on combofix.exe and follow the prompts.
When it's finished it will produce a log.
Post the contents of the C:\ComboFix.txt into your next reply.
Note: Do not mouseclick combofix's window whilst it's running.
That may cause the program to freeze/hang.
