Slow running computer/ msconfig will not allow changes
I posted on another board about this problem and was recommended that i go here. It was suspected that i have a virus. I have been trying to isolate the problem through msconfig but it prompts me to log in as the adminastrator to make changes, but i am the only one on this computer and my account is set up as adminstrator. I see you managed to run the file lister program a few times.
Locate and delete the C:\Files.txt file. It is not needed anymore. There is nothing in the logs indicating any kind of infection.
What exactly happens when you try to use msconfig?

Does this happen when you try to disable a certain entry in MSConfig or any entry?

According to the information Ihave gathered, the problem is related to this driver Pml Driver HPZ12 - HP from HP.
Since you have the auto update feature disabled in msconfig
HKLM\Software\microsoft\shared tools\msconfig\startupreg\HP Software Update
You can try to update the HP software and see if that resolves the issue. You can reinstall the HP pronter software and see if that rsolves it, if not you should contact HP support.
