Someone is sending messages using my e-mail address
I don't understand the following occurance; can anyone explain this to me (in simple language, please - I don't talk computer) -- My friend sent me a message that I did NOT understand because I didn't send a message with the subject "trust me" even though it was sent by my address. How can anyone copy my address and use it like that. I would really like to know if this is something I should worry about. I didn't open anything. )

Someone that has your e-mail address somewhere on their computer (it could be in their address book or even in their temporary internet files) is infected with a virus. The virus propogates itself by selecting e-mail addresses on the infected computer to both send the virus to and to act as the senders e-mail address. This is called spoofing the senders address. There is no way you can find out whose computer is infected and there is nothing you can do about it. Almost all of the newer viruses work this way, and because they do, there is no way to determine who really has the virus.
Of course to make sure your computer is not infected, you should run a complete antivirus scan of your computer with up to date virus defintions at least once a week. To reassure yourself now, you should run one now.

Everything's OK...
What's going on here, is that someone (pla-----@comcast.net) sent you a virus.
You didn't send a virus, but you were supposed to receive the email with the virus. Your ISP caught the virus, quarantined it, and notified you of the virus, so you can notify whoever sent the email with the virus. If it's a friend/realitive, mail them and tell them that they have W32/Netsky.c@MM!zip if it's not a friend/realitive, forget about it. Good chance the email is forged, and would not be able to receive an email from you.
