Spyware Blaster & casalemedia.com
Went to update this morning and it showed that protection was not enabled for this site on the restricted list. I remember we had the same situation concerning another site about a month ago, but don't remember what the resolution was. The program has latest updates. Thanks for any info.

it's a minor conflict with SpyBot's Immunization, as I reported at the end of this thread: http://en.community.dell.com/forums/t/19269516.aspx
Just re-enable all protection in SpywareBlaster. It will "stay", until you hit IMMUNIZE in SpyBot.
Hopefully, one of these two programs will fix the issue.

Just to let you know that this problem/conflicts continues, even after today's (4/22/2009) spybot update. If you immunize with SpyBot, then after doing so, be sure to open SpywareBlaster to re-enable all protection (which should only be missing the CasaleMedia.com)

I'm seeing the same thing over and over - casalemedia unchecks itself in SpywareBlaster. I re-check it and Enable All Protection, but next time it's unchecked and unprotected again. What's happening?

Do you also use SpyBot to "immunize" your system? If so, every time you press the IMMUNIZE button, it (based on the current updates) will REMOVE the casaleMedia.com restricted site.
this is a hopefully temporary "conflict" between these two programs.
so after EACH TIME you immunize with spybot, you should then re-enable all sites (including caslemedia.com) in spywareblaster.

SpywareBlaster database update 4/27/09
Observation: This update has removed casalemedia.com from the restricted sites zone, so there is no longer a conflict between SpywareBlaster and Spybot concerning this particular site.

Hmm ... is whitelisting casalemedia a good thing? I had gone to their web site and seen that casalemedia specializes in pop-ups and -unders. Why not keep them on the restricted list?

Normally, when SpyBot removes a site from its restricted list, it's because the site is "dead"... no longer active... so they see no point in blocking that site anymore.
However, in this case, it seems that casalemedia is still "alive", so I don't know why they removed it.
Here are two options you can consider:
1) If you have a major objection to that one site, you can still manually add it to your IE restricted sites: Tools / Internet Options / Security / Restricted Sites / Sites. Keep in mind, however, that each time you click the IMMUNIZE button in SpyBot, it will remove this site (again)... meaning you will have to re-insert each time, after you immunize with SpyBot.
2) If you haven't heard of (or looked into) WOT (Web of Trust), I would suggest you consider this useful add-on. There are separate versions for IE (Windows XP/Vista/2000), and for FireFox. WOT can warn/block you from accessing what it considers to be bad sites... and as of this writing, casalemedia.com is being blocked by WOT
