there are free spyware strike removal instructions in 2-spyware.com. If you Do not want to purchase any program, just follow the instructions, they are up to date, carefully tested and working:
I followed those instructions from 2-spyware.com, and they did not work for me. No matter what I tried, Spyware Strike just wouldn't go away. Finally used System Restore to wipe them out.
This program will NOT go away. And I've tried everything. The Spyware is off the computer, but the little "pop" sound from the window will not stop appearing. And it won't stop claiming that I am infected. So it's not working.
And now, for some reason, my computer is unable to System restore to an earlier point. Before this, I have ALWAYS been able to restore. But now whenever I select a restore point, no matter when, or how far back it may be, it won't change anything. Windows simply restarts and says "No changes could be made, the Restore Failed' Along those lines. No reason why, nothing. I click help, and it says the same message. I don't get it.
This popup is really eating my system, and causing annoying sounds, which just make using this PC a huge hassle. Reformatting is not an option, So..
Thus far, I have ran AVG Scanners, Ad-Aware, and MIcrosoft Spyware. As well as that Spyware doctor tool listed in the first post. None are removing the small icon in the process bar, with the annoying popups.
:smileymad:Yes, I'm having the same problem. Not only have I used AVG, Norton, Ad-Ware SE, I have also used spybot as well as AOL SpyZapper and still nothing. I have downloaded many instructions and programs to vent me from this "Pissy Pop-Up Problem", but nothing has worked. It's still attached amd hiding some where! It's really slowing down PC and it's cozing audio & video clitches when burning or ripping from CD.s or DVD's. :smileysad: PLEASE HELP!!!!

Any other suggestions would be great. Thanks.
