Trojan virus Hijackthis list - Please help

My computer was infected with the trojan virus and is running extremly slow.  Please help me with the items I can delete below is the hijackthis list.  Please let me know what Items I can delete and will this be suficient to completele get rid of this virus or should I reintall all my programs.

There is no malware present in your log. Your java is way out of date
and is causing a slight security risk.

Please follow these steps to remove older version Java components

1. Close any open programs you may have running, especially your web
browser.

2. Click Start-->Control Panel-->Add or Remove Programs.
For those just reading this thread:
Depending on your OS, you may have to click Start-->Settings-->Control Panel-->Add or Remove Programs.

3. Click once on any item listing Java Runtime Environment in the name (to highlight it) then click the "Remove" or "Change/Remove" button.
Not every version of Java will begin with "Java" so be sure to read each entry in the list.
Repeat step 3 as many times as necessary to remove all versions of Java.
**If you are asked to reboot at any point during the uninstallations, please do so. Then go back to Add/Remove and continue with the rest of the removals...when finished uninstalling all of them, reboot the computer.

4. Navigate to and delete:
  • C:\Program Files\ Java =this folder if found
5. Then go to this page.
Scroll down to where it says "The J2SE Runtime Environment (JRE) allows end-users to run Java applications"and click the "Download" button to the right.

6. Check the box that says: "Accept License Agreement" the page will refresh and click on the link to download Windows Offline Installation with or without Multi-language. Save it to your desktop.
Then from your desktop double-click on jre-1_5_0_08-windowsi586-p.exe to install the newest version.

As for your system running slow, when was your last disk cleanup and defrag? Copy the text below, between the lines, to Notepad and save it to your Desktop as "Cleantempfiles.bat" but without those quote marks.

Now double click on the .bat file on your Desktop and answer "Yes" to each question to allow the batch to run. When finished the command prompt window will disappear. Reboot at this point and delete the .bat file on your Desktop.

Next, click start-->Choose Run in the Start Menu and type or copy and paste the following in the Run box and press ENTER:
cleanmgr /sageset:1

What you're doing here is setting up a cleaning profile for Disk Cleanup to use later on. When you type the above, a dialog box will appear with a list of junk file types that you can select for removal. You'll notice, you have more options to choose from here than you would if you were to just open up your cleanmgr from the "All Programs-->Accessories-->Tools" menu. Select which options you want to clean up by putting a check mark in each one but Do not put a check in the box for "Compress old files".
- Click OK after making your choices.

Now, copy the text below (between the lines) to Notepad and save it to your Desktop as "CleanUpandDefrag.bat" but again, without those quote marks:

Now, double click on the .bat file on your Desktop and click "OK".
When the clean up and defrag complete, reboot your computer. You can save that .bat file and double click on it about once a week to run your automated clean up and defrag with one click so-to-speak.

Post back and let us know how the computer is now behaving and if you are still having any more issues.

Thank you for your response!  I tried all the steps but my computer is however still slow and the reason is because I might have the Trojan virus.  The McAfee virus scan alerted me I had the virus about a month ago and after that my computer got very slow.  I ran the virus scan again several times but nothing cames back again.  I went on the internet and downloaded two programs Defenza and Noadware they both alert me of the hijack virus but I am not sure if I should buy it and or which one to  buy.
 
I ran the hijack list again you will see it below in case you can find something.  Your advise on either subject will be greatly appreciated.  Thank you very much.

In previous years, NoAdware was listed in Eric Howes' Rogue Anti Spyware Applications listings. Allegedly it has taken a different posture. But, just based on the fact that it was once listed there would cause me to look elsewhere for a more reputable piece of software...and believe me, there are plenty of other more reputable and trustworthy antispyware/adware applications available on the public domain.

Please read the McAfee SiteAdvisor analysis regarding Defenzadotcom.

Click start-->control panel-->add/remove programs
Scroll down the list and locate the program names:
NoAdware4, and Defenza and click Remove for each. Reboot after each uninstallation completes.

Download and run
>CWShredder.
Launch the executable, accept the agreement, and then click " Check for Update"
Download and install any updates.
Now, close any open windows except for CWShredder and then click " Fix ->"

You'll see three lines starting with "Restoring" to let you know the scan is finished (It should take about a minute to run), then click " Next ->"

Please reboot the computer.

Please run HijackThis again and check the box next to the following if still present:
R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Local Page = \blank.htm

Locate and delete the following files/folders indicated in Bold text:
C:\Program Files\ NoAdware4\NoAdware4.exe
C:\Program Files\ Defenza\pcd-as.exe

Reboot the computer to properly record the changes made to the disk.

Please download Ad-Aware SE Personal Edition 1.06 and install it. If you already have version 1.06, please configure it as indicated below. If you have a previous version of Ad-Aware, please uninstall your current version and install the newest version SE 1.06.

1) Run Ad-Aware, and click Check for updates now.

2) Select Configurations (click the Gear wheel at the top) as follows:
  • General Button > Safety & Settings: Check (Green) all three.
  • Tweak Button > Cleaning Engine > UNcheck "Always try to unload modules before deletion".
Click Proceed.
3) To start the scan, Click > "Scan Now" at left
  • Deselect "Search for negligible risk entries" as negligible risk entries (MRU's) are not considered to be a threat.
  • Select "Search for low-risk threats"
  • Select "Perform full system scan"
  • Click Next
4) When the scan has completed, select Next.
  • In the Scanning Results window, select the "Critical Objects" tab.
  • Right-click on the screen and choose "Select all objects"
  • Click Next to remove the infections found, and click OK to the prompt.
  • Restart the computer.
Please download "Spybot search and destroy"

After installation, Go to Start > Programs >Spybot - Search & Destroy and when the program opens, click on the mode tab at the top left of the application window and select "advanced". Then click on Tools. In the menu on the left hand side you will see Resident, click there then in the right pane under "resident protection status" put a check mark in the box next to "resident SD helper (Internet explorer bad download blocker).
Close ALL windows except Spybot S&D.

Click the button to Search for Updates and download and install the Updates. When the updates complete, please click "immunize" from the menu on the left. Then in the right pane click the +immunize button.
Next click the "Search and Destroy" button from the left pane menu then click the "check for Problems" button in the right pane.
Spybot will now scan your computer and display in the "problem" window any bad programs it finds. When the scan completes, it may show red, black, and green entries. Please put a check mark next to all the RED entries and click "fix selected problems". When finished, close the application.
Download Ewido anti-spyware to your desktop.
This is a 30 day free trial. At the end of the 30-day trial period the full version features (active guard, automatic updates...) will be deactivated and the program will become a feature-limited freeware version...You can still keep it and use it for "On Demand" scanning.
  • Double click the icon on the desktop to launch the set up program.
  • Select Change state to inactivate "Resident Shield" and "Automatic Updates". Right click on ewido in the system tray and uncheck "Start with Windows".
  • Once the setup is complete you will need to update the definition files.
  • On the main screen select the icon Update then click the Start Update button.
  • The update will start and a progress bar will show the updates being installed.
  • Once the update has completed select the Scanner icon at the top of the screen, then select the Settings tab.
  • Once in the Settings screen click on Recommended actions and then select Quarantine.
  • Under Reports
  • Select Automatically generate report after every scan
  • Un-Select Only if threats were found

Close ewido anti-spyware.

Please boot into Safe mode:

Restart the computer and immediately begin tapping the F8 key (or F5 on some Dell machines).
Use the arrow keys to highlight Safe Mode and press the Enter key. Once in safe mode, continue with the instructions below:

  • Launch ewido anti-spyware by double-clicking the icon on your desktop.
  • Select the Scanner icon at the top, then the Scan tab then click on Complete System Scan.
  • ewido will now begin the scanning process, be patient this may take some time.
  • When prompted of an infection, please select Apply all actions

Once the scan is complete do the following:
  • Next select the Reports icon at the top.
  • Select the Save report as button in the lower left hand of the screen and save it to your Desktop.
Now close ewido anti-spyware.

Reboot back to your normal user mode. Please post the log from your Ewido scan along with a fresh HijackThis log. How is the computer running now?

I performed all the steps and the coputer is still running slow.   Nothing come up when I ran the report for ewido and below is the report from hijackthis.

Please post the Ewido scan log as requested.
Please perform this online scan: F-Secure Online Scanner Next Generation Beta
1. Click on the link " F-Secure Online Scanner Next Generation Beta".
2. You may receive an alert on the address bar at this point to install the ActiveX control.
3. Click on that alert and then Click Insall ActiveX component.
4. Read the license agreement and click " Accept".
5.Click " Custom Scan" and be sure the following are checked:
  • Scan whole System
  • Scan all files
  • Scan whole system for rootkits
  • Scan whole system for spyware
  • Scan inside archives
  • Use advanced heuristics
6. When the scan completes, click the " I want to decide item by item" button.
7. For each item found, Select " Disinfect" and click " Next".
8. When done, click the " Show Report" button, then copy and paste the entire report into your next reply.
