Since there have been several mentions of this tool recently, I took note of today's update. If someone knows where to find a changelog, that would be appreciated.
Note: When I tried to download this product, Avast's Behavior Shield and IE's SmartScreen Filter both "intercepted" (i.e., questioned) it... likely due to the "newness" of this version. I allowed the download to continue.

As with any removal tool, it should be used with caution: some items are "PUPS" --- Potentially Unwanted Programs --- some of which, you might have intentionally installed and really want. As such, it would be best to generate a log, and then ask for help at an appropriate analysis forum.

The alert from IE Smart Screen filter is a known false positive. I got it in both IE8 and IE11.
I always scan downloaded installers before running them. None of my scanners detected anything.
But when I attempted to run the file in XP, I got multiple alerts from both Emsisoft and my Outpost Pro firewall (it has outbound protection) about suspicious malware-like behavior. I ignored them all, of course, but found them oddly reassuring that my behavioral protection was keeping an eye on things.
When I ran a scan in Win 7, neither Panda Cloud AV Pro, MBAM Pro, or my Windows firewall objected. Presumably it was recognised as legit.
Scans of both systems detected nothing.
