Hello Malwarebytes community,

Malwarebytes version 5.4.8.232 component package 149.0.5487 is now available.

You can get the update right away by clicking "Check for updates" in Settings > General. Or, it will be automatically installed if you have automatic updates enabled.

What’s New

• Allow list input validation: when an item is added to the Allow List, the app now detects what you entered (IP address or URL).

• Interactive dashboard guide: you can now permanently dismiss non-essential recommendations.

• Scam Guard reporting: you can now report suspicious links, emails, and phone numbers with one click using the Report button in chat.

Issues Fixed

• Monthly scan banner: fixed an issue where the Free Monthly Scan banner wouldn’t reappear in the Scan Scheduler after deleting a monthly scan.

• Fixed an issue where domains in invalid format could be added to the Allow List.

• Minor UI and localization fixes.
