Upgrading Malwarebytes 3 Premium Versions

I recently noted that I was running seriously outdated old versions of MB3 Premium on Win 7 Home, Win 7 Pro, and Win 10 Pro systems. On all these systems, I had configured the Settings>Applications Update>Automatically download and install radio button to "Off". I had the "Notify me when full versions are available" radio button  set to "ON". Despite these settings, I was not notified of any new versions of MB3 Premium for almost one year on all these systems. I had to use the Settings>Applications Update>Install Application Updates [button] to initiate a search/download/install of the latest MB3 version.

Most users of MB3, I suspect, already choose the "automatically download and install" option for new versions. I post this info for those who, like me, want to review new software prior to installing it. It appears that MB3 Premium  is not currently notifying me when new versions are available.

As always, YMMV.

I finally decided to upgrade to MB3 (from MBAM2) on my Primary (Win7x64) and Tertiary (32-bit WinXP) systems.   But I'm keeping MBAM2 around on my Secondary (32-bit Win8.1) system.

Still too early to evaluate things (specifically, overall system impact)... but at least I can report no major/obvious problems.

Glad to hear they are still honoring the MBAM lifetime licenses in the transition. One wonders how long they will continue to support MBAM.

After about one year of using MB3 premium on several systems, I must say it has been relatively grief-free as far as protection goes. Every once in a while a protection mode still shuts off, but that's about it. Likely due to some conflict with another real-time security software (Panda, Kaspersky Free), and easily reactivated. No killer false positives. I probably should bite the bullet, and make MB3 my only real-time security.
