Virus-winik.sys

Question

I just found out my computer is infected with the winik.sys and winlk.sys trojan viruses. They have been quarantined by my virus software, but I was wondering if anyone knew how to delete them.

What Antivirus are you using? Go into the quarantine and delete them manually. :smileyhappy:   You should also run a Panda scan: http://www.pandasoftware.com/activescan

Thanks but it won't let you access them. I even ran Avast virus killer which appeared like it was working, but it didn't. The Winik.sys gets way down into the root and Microsoft techs have not even been able to find a solution so far other than uninstalling everyting and reinstalling the system.
