Webroot Spy Sweeper for MSN
My trustly Internet provider or connection or whatever MSN is, is offering for free the above named version of Spysweeper. It even is offering an antivirus program from McAfee and an MSN firewall. All for free with my membership on MSN :smileysurprised:. I was wondering about compatibility issues if any. I just switched to ZoneAlarm free and AVG free yesterday and they seem to be working just fine so far.
For spyware I have MS antispyware beta 1, Spybot S&D, Ad Aware, and Spyware Blaster. Was not at all pleased with Defender so removed it. It might be overkill to add another another spyware program, but if they don't conflict or use up too many resources, my attitude is why not? Thanks for any input. :smileywink:

I think you will be happier with AVG, than with McAfee.
But it's a bad idea to have both.
As Far as a firewall, ZoneAlarm is plenty
Considering the others you mentioned Spybot S&D and Spyware blaster, you can use them both, but only one should be active, and let the other be a stand alone tool.
AdAware is always good to have
