where do I find AVG?

I have read alot about avg and was wondering where I can download it.  Also if someone could recommend a firewall to go along with it.  Thanks for any help.   Eric

I use ZoneAlarm Free along with AVG Ant-Virus Free version.

Before installing it, however, be sure that the remnants of all prior anti-virus software have been removed.

livnitup23   (while their instructions do include a warning) I just want to emphasize that the Norton removal tool suggested above will remove ALL Symantec/Norton products on your PC... there is no way to 'pick and choose' to remove some, but not all, products.   If you have any Norton product that you wish to keep (e.g., Ghost), either you shouldn't use this generic removal tool, or you need to take proper precautions to be able to re-instate (Ghost or etc.) after running the tool.
