Which Program uses the least system resources

I need to choose between Norton 2007, McAFee 2007 or pc cillen.
 
All have been said to slow your comp down but which does it the least!
 
Please help so i can buy my comp!

Oh, yes, I know what you're talking about now. If it bothers you so much, I guess you can change anti-viruses and uninstall it. You could get another anti-virus instead, if you really wanted. It's a personal opinion. Other people in the forum recommend using Avast! or Avira/AntiVir Personal Edition. Both apparently are wonderful free anti-viruses and they both support Windows 95 to Vista. The choice is purely up to you.

Thank you! I'll check into the Avast -- never heard of that one, appreciate the heads up.  I don't mind buying one, but have to admit I'm not overly thrilled with either McAfee or Norton and do like the way AVG works, other than that pop up!  (well, we all have our quirks, right?)

You're welcome. And yes, we do all have our quirks. :smileywink: Hopefully Avast! will work as well as AVG for you but without the bothersome pop-up. Make sure to uninstall AVG fully though, before you install Avast! Running 2 Anti-Viruses on one machine is not a good idea.
