Win32:Vitro - How can I delete it without reinstalling Windows?

Hey!
I posted another message for a while ago where I was having trouble with my Dell Inspiron, but I got it fixed after it was to some guys from Dell who helped me with it.

I got the computer back today, and the first thing I did was downloading Avast and then Firefox , After a while I was going to install mIRC (Which was on my exteral harddrive for backup) , and then it poped up a Virus called Vitro, and I could see that this was the same Virus as I had before I sent it in to Dell, so I didn't delete it (Because when I did last time, I couldn't sign in after a boot anymore, not in safemood either), so after that, I was going to install MSN, but I needed Service Pack 3, so I downloaded it from Microsofts' site when it suddenly poped up:

Filename: C:\WINDOWS\$NtServicePackUninstall$\taskmsgr.exe
Malwarename:Win32:Vitro
Malware type: Virus/Worm
VPS Version: 090406-0, 06.04.2009

I have no idea where the Virus came from & how to delete it, I don't wan to reinstall everything again, because last time I did it 12 times, and it didn't work.

After I got the laptop back, I got a new Hard drive, screen, soundcard, keyboard, everything, so it can't be something with my Hard drive!
What can I do!?

I'll post a picture of one of the messages from Avast about this virus

It's not going to be unusual for your AV to find infections in System Restore folders for the next few days now that the active infection has been removed.
And they pose no threat unless System Restore is invoked for the particular date they are associated with. And eventually Windows will delete the older Sytem restore folders for newer ones. You can speed up the detection process by Booting into Safe Mode and running a full system scan.

If you are still having a problem, then post a Hijackthis log as a reply to this thread and lets take a look

That log is clean

1. Go HERE and download File Lister.
  • Save it to your Desktop
  • Rt Click ->> Extract all ->> And extract it to your Desktop
  • Additional help on extracting zip files can be found HERE
  • Open the File Lister Folder.
  • Note: Leave the FileLister.vbe file in the folder and run it from there.
  • Rt Click FileLister.vbe ->>Select Open Then Open to confirm.
  • As the program runs, it will appear that nothing is happening.
  • When the program is fnished it will produce a log for you C:\Files.txt

Copy and paste the contents of that log in your reply.

Reboot into Safe Mode, temporarily disable Avast! and run the FileLister program in Safe Mode.

The log file will be auto saved as C:\Files.txt
