Question

I have a virus and was hoping that someone could tell me what i need to clean up using HJT to get rid of the problem.   When i go on the interenet and use the google toolbar it opens a second window with its own search, at the same time it creates green underlined writing on many of the pages i open that lead to random popups. I'm having the exact same problem.  Have multiple spyware programs and they do what I think is the spyware.  But when I launch IE explorer it reapears.   Please help us fellow forumites!!!!

After having researched this for a while, I have found 2 very valuable websites, http://hometown.aol.co.uk/jrmc137/hjttutorial/tutorial.htm and http://computercops.biz/CLSID.html which helped me to analyze my hijack log.  Both are saved in my favorites folder now:smileyhappy: I was having the exact same problem, as you, with popups.  The first BHO (Broswer Helper Object) listed on your log,   O2 - BHO: bitlocker - {01EB5130-FC0C-4d75-B9CE-4801B1B854F5} - C:\WINDOWS\system32
su12E.dll   , is the culprit.  When I deleted that line my problem disappeared:smileyhappy::smileyvery-happy:  No more funny green highlighted words on my webpages, and no more annoying popups.  I looked up the CLSID ' {01EB5130-FC0C-4d75-B9CE-4801B1B854F5} ' per the intructions of the first link, which is a hijack this tutorial, in the 2nd link, also found in the tutorial and found what it is: Begin2Search/PopupSearches.com Adware varient.  As I mentioned when I deleted that line, I have had no further problems.  Hope it works for you as well as it worked for me:smileywink:
