Max device size supported on VMAX3
Hi All,
Can someone let me know max device size supported on VMAX3?
As per EMC white paper ( h13578-vmax3-family-new-features-wp.pdf )
The Device can be up to 64TB in size
Whereas, As per latest EMC release notes ( VMAX3-Family-with-HYPERMAX-OD-5977-Release-Notes.pdf )
The maximum allowed TDEV size is 16TB.
Which is the correct one ? Don't' know why two different statement.

VMAX3 has been designed with very large device sizes in mind. Initial release of VMAX3 allowed up to 16TB devices, future releases will increase the allowed size of a single device. today with current GA code (5977.596.x) maximum supported size is 16TB. The white paper evidently slipped through QA review :-)
