perfomace analysis trend on symmetrix V max SMC.

Question

Hi Team,

we have recently migraded the sieble db since the migration there was a huge perfomance impact.

can someone tell me how to check the perfomae analysis for the particular db.

in symmetrix VMAX smc found an option perfomance analysis trend.can some one tell me as a storage admin can i launch the perfomance analysis trend, if so how to gather the perfomace related data?

please recomand some perfomance related trouleshooting document for symmetrix.

Hi Sikumar,

That option in SMC opens up the SPA (Symmetrix Performance Analyzer) software in a seperate browser. You can also open it using the URL https:// :8443/spa

SPA first needs to be configured to collect the performance data, it does require licenses. Please read the SMAS installation guide for the detailed information.
