Unisphere for VMAX not seeing remote Array
Hi,
We have Unisphere for VMAX set up in two sites with a VAMX array in each site. We have SRDF running between the 2 x sites.
In Site 1, we see 1 x VMAX in Unisphere (the Local one). In SYMCLI we see both the Local and Remote arrays.
In Site 2 we see 2 x VMAX in Unisphere (both the local and remote one). IN SYMCLI we see both the Local and Remote arrays.
I'm trying to figure out why our Site 1 Unisphere is not seeing both arrays? Any pointers?
We use local accounts for login.

Hi,
I'm not aware of this file, so I suspect not. Can you point me to where this file is located, please and I will take a look.

Hi,
No file like that (symavoid) in the config directory.
Sorry, I should have mentioned that this install has been around for approx. 12 months, so server etc has been rebooted several times.
We recently installed a new set of VMAXs across 2 sites (so we now have 4 in total) and when setting up SRDF etc for these ones, I noticed the same thing happening (Site 1 sees 1 x VMAX, site 2 sees 2 x VMAX) which is why I'm only looking into this now.

For Windows (default): C:\Program Files\EMC\SYMAPI\config
For UNIX (default): /var/symapi/config
